Arrive in time to park, check and walk to the boat by 10:00 am.+
The boat will launch from the Traders Hill Boat Ramp, 1388 Tracys Ferry Rd, Folkston, GA.
Seating is limited to 18 persons. There is not room in the boat for tripods. The 2-hour informative tour will provide an opportunity for you to experience the beauty of the blackwater river, discover how swamp and river are connected, and learn about the most pressing issues facing the river today! The tour is hosted by the St. Marys Riverkeeper (www.stmarysriverkeeper.org).
For your comfort and safety:
- Bring a full (reusable) water bottle, hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, and bug spray. You are also welcome to bring a seat cushion.
- There are no restrooms on board the boat.
- We will be departing and returning to Traders Hill Boat Ramp.
- Boat capacity 18 passengers.
