David Long St. Augustine Workshops 2021

David Long, professional nature photographer and one of our past judges will conduct two days of instruction in St Augustine this spring. The dates are March 29th and April 27th. The classes are limited to 10 people and it’s on a first-come-first-serve basis. The classes are all day from 6:30 am to 8:00 pm but included with your ticket is admission to the Alligator Farm as well as dinner. Check the website below for more information:

JOIN DAVID FOR A DAY OF SHOOTING IN ST. AUGUSTINE, FLORIDA

St. Augustine has its share of beautiful beaches complete with sand dunes, lighthouses and piers. It also has great wildlife opportunities. What makes St. Augustine different, though, is its unique backdrop of the city and its history. Photographers delight in its European flavor with brick-lined streets, centuries-old buildings, churches and forts, hidden courtyards, iconic bridges and statues, and so much more!

All travel for this workshop is done on your own. Cost includes admission to the the Alligator Farm and dinner at Salt Water Cowboys.

Dave has been practicing digital environmental landscape photography for the last ten years, and film for many more. From the mountains of New Hampshire and Vermont to the seacoast locations of Maine and Massachusetts, he looks for iconic images during the best seasons with incredible light. He strives for each photograph to communicate not only what is seen, but also how the location makes you feel.

Dave is a member of the Boston Camera Club where he was the 2018 Photographer of the Year. He has won numerous awards including the Appalachian Mountain Club’s Image of the Year. His images have been featured in Cape Cod Magazine 20th Anniversary Edition, the 2018 Guide to Boston, St. Augustine Social Magazine and Visit Central Mass Guide.
