- JCC members received 6 ribbons in the recent F3C print competition (there were only 180 total entries, so fewer ribbons this time).

- Digital Contest 2: Online submissions April 17 through May 8
- Monochrome Print Contest: Collection of prints on June 5 and June 19
F3C Contests
- 2025 1st Triannual Digital Contest: submissions accepted online April 8 through May 8.
- 2025 2nd Triannual Print Contest: F3C dates May 24 - June 24; JCC collection dates TBD
Educational Opportunities
- B&H, the big NYC camera dealer, has an ongoing series of free seminars and lectures. See their schedule here. Note there is a 'slider' next to the list of months where you can include past events. Past events are available to view on demand.
Community Involvement and photo ops
- Audubon Florida is especially interested in reports of banded Roseate Spoonbills. See details and how to here. (For reporting tags on other species, see this page.)
- St. Johns Riverkeeper is celebrating 25 years of advocacy. Events are listed here.
- "City Nature Challenge" sponsored by Jacksonville Zoo - April 25-28. Information here.
- Duval Audubon: Open house at Crosby Sanctuary, Saturday April 26, 8:00 am - 12:00 noon. Details.
Third Party Contests (they are what they are, no promises or endorsements)
- "Art Through the Lens", sponsored by Yeiser Art Center, Paducah County, KY. Entry fee $10. Cash prices. Sales opportunities. Closes June 7. Call for entries.
Member Photo Postings
- The JCC Outings Gallery hosts member photos from our outings. Add your photos there and check what others have posted. On the JCC website go to Galleries > Outings Galleries > 2024.
- Members also post to the club's private Facebook page, so join in there as well. Check for the latest photo challenge or post to show what you have done or find interesting.
