After all the activity in March, April has come in like a lamb. Class availability is much less. However, coming up the first week of May will be the 4th version of the Photoshop Virtual Summit. As of April 1, there is a website dedicated to this weeklong event. In order to view any class, you will have to sign up for a free pass. And to view the schedule of classes, click here.
Many of the instructors are people that I highlighted over a year ago: Julianne Kost, Ben Willmore, and Matt Kloskowski among them. It should be an interesting week to begin May 2022. Classes are available to watch for free for 48 hours after each class is originally scheduled, so you can watch any class at your convenience during that period of time.
Additionally, I have posted a YouTube video to show JCC members how to view tutorials that are listed on the JCC Education page. If you have been finding the listings difficult to navigate this short 2.5 minute video may help.
I just visited the JCC members Facebook page the other day and found some wonderful images posted on it. If you, like me, do not visit this site very often you are missing out on some wonderful images. I recommend that you check it out.
Finally, Photoshop has a relatively new Filter called neural filter. This filter uses depth maps to change the manner in which areas of the photo appear blurred or sharp. Colin Smith at Photoshop Cafe has a recent video on modifying depth maps to change your image. The video can be found here. I will also add it to the Virtual Workshops & Self-Paced Learning area of the Education page.
