"The entire family is sure to enjoy Savannah's most intriguing & historic restaurant. At the Pirates' House, our most precious treasure is the food. Situated in Trustees Garden, merely a scant block from the Savannah River, the Famous Pirates' House is the most historic spot in Georgia.
Saturday morning, April 7: Brunch at B. Mathew's Eatery , 325 E. Bay Street. (8:00 AM or later)
Cancelled by consensus.
Saturday evening, April 7, Dinner at Vic's On The River, 26 East Bay Street. (7:30 PM tentative)Cancelled -
Unfortunately making group reservations in Savannah on a Saturday evening are virtually impossible unless booked way in advance.
So for that evening, Sat. April 7, it is recommended that you join together in smaller groups (2-4) and make your own dinner plans.
Hotels: You’re on your own, hotels vary in pricing and it appears that room prices decrease the further you are from the historic district.

Savannah Historic District
The Savannah Historic District is a large urban historic district that corresponds roughly to the city limits of Savannah prior to the Civil War. In 1966 the area was declared a National Historic Landmark District and is one of the largest of its kind in the United States.
On average the Savannah Historic District attracts millions of visitors annually to marvel at its 18th and 19th century architecture and green spaces. Some sights to see inside the historic district include the birthplace of Juliette Gordon Low (the founder of the Girl Scouts of America), the Telfair Academy of Arts and Sciences, the First African Baptist Church, the Temple Mickve Israel, the Central of Georgia Railway roundhouse complex, the Colonial Cemetery, the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist and Old Harbor Light. Not only is the district home to a number of sites on this list, but features a great deal more that will keep visitors entertained throughout their travels.
The Historic Downtown district of Savannah features the City Market, set between 2 elegant squares, Ellis and Franklin. The Market’s Art Centre has working artists, gourmet restaurants, and family-friendly eateries like Vinnie Van Go-Go's. After Dark, the City Market’s bars such as Pour Larry’s, Wet Willie’s, and the Tree House burst into life. Find out more about Savannah’s fascinating history at the Savannah History Museum in Tricentennial Park. The museum recounts the city’s story from 1733 to the present and includes everything from a 1902 Crestmobile auto to the iconic bench from the Forrest Gump movie.
