New Interesting Training Available

Sometimes life gets in the way of things you want to do.  Time Flies and it’s been over three weeks since I put together a JCC Education Blog post.  Thanks to Charisse Tanner we have some new additions to the listing of free educational opportunities in the area of photography. On May 27 thanks to Kah-Wai Lin Photography there will be a seminar by Matt Dieterich on National Park Astrophotography on the evening of May 27 at 8:00 PM EDT. Since the club has a outing scheduled for August 2021 to Okeefenokee for an overnight to shoot the Milky Way, Charisse thought and I agree that this tutorial would be right up our alley. Ever since I took over as Education Chair I have tried to let members know about educational presentations that are Free. There are many, many groups, individuals and corporations that sell their training. I do not believe my job at JCC is to either promote or shill for any group that is in the training business. If any member wants to join a training organization, that’s their prerogative. I am just trying to make available all the training information that members can view or attend without an upcharge.
