Charise Tanner will be accepting digital entries for the 3rd Quarter Digital Competition between June 1st and June 30th.
Julius Dean reports that the F3C 2nd Triannual Digital Competition will be accepting submissions from June 5th-30th.
Tina Jordon reports that the next People’s Choice Competition will be July 19th. The theme will be Reptiles: Lizards, Snakes, Turtles, and Alligators.
Business:
Craig Shier was absent and discussion of the club brochures was postponed.
Rick Hartmann gave a website tutorial to help members put their profiles and galleries on the website.
Charise Tanner talked about member difficulties in submitting digital prints and offered a tutorial on how to avoid these problems.
Jim Jordan reminded members to pay their yearly dues.
The death of member and previous president Jim Lowell was announced.
Upcoming Outings: On July 11th, Darrel Joseph will take member on a walk through the Cummer Museum, discussing how an understanding of great art can help us as photographers. Members can sign up on the website.
F3C Information: Julius Dean handed out residual ribbons to F3C winners. He discussed the upcoming swap meet on July 5th.
Library: Kathy Jaworski talked about her plans for the Library. She is taking contributions to the Library. There is a form that members can fill out on the website to check out a book.
Program: The results of the latest Print Competition were announced.
