JCC Print Contest Label Process
This contest is held among the active members of the Jacksonville Camera Club (JCC) to provide an educational and entertaining challenge. It is category-based and held quarterly. Prints are submitted as prescribed herein on specified dates. A judge, to whom the identity of the image's maker is unknown, reviews the prints, provides critiques and selects winners. Awards are given for first through fourth place and a number of honors in accordance with a sliding scale. The results are announced at a club program on a prescribed date. The winners are awarded both "glory" and "points". Enjoy the contest and Good Luck!
The Three Ways to Create a Label and Submit the Digital Version of Your Image.
The Google Form Method (Preferred)
This method uses a Google Form and includes an upload of a Digital Version of your image.
In a nutshell the process is as follows:
- Entrant completes a short form for each entry with a digital version of their print.
- Entrant receives an email with an attached PDF which is the label for the reverse of the print.
- Entrant prints the label.
- Entrant attached the label to the print.
- Submission as normal.
This method requires a Google account which is the same as a Gmail account.
The Semi-Manual Method
This method consist of filling a PDF form (the label) Printing it and uploading the image via the website.
In a nutshell the process is as follows:
- Entrant completes a PDF label for each entry.
- Entrant prints the label.
- Entrant attached the label to the print.
- Entrant uploads an image via the website.
- Submission as normal.
This method does not requires a Google account.
The Manual Method
In this method the entrant brings the print to the print chair and completes the label manually. Image submission process is under review.
The entrant needs the following information for each for each print: Entrant Name, Category, Print Title

The first step is to complete a PDF label form and print it.
When you click the below button a PDF label form will be downloaded to your computer. Look where your browser saves downloaded documents and open the PDF in Adobe Acrobat Reader, a free program. You may print the form and trim to the label size of approximately 5 1/2 inches by 8 1/2 inches.
Step two is to upload an image to the Print Chair. The prescribed method is to go to the Member's Menu on the website. You must be logged in. Navigate to Nexus|Image Upload Central|Print Contest.

The Manual Method to Create a Label and Submit the Digital Version of Your Contest Prints
ONE STEP
Bring your print(s) to the JCC meeting on the designated date(s). The Print Chair will provide a blank label for you to complete. Discuss with him/her how you wish to get the digital version of your image submitted. If a policy or method is developed that is workable for all this section will be edited to reflect the change.
