It was an exiting first meeting for me as the President of Jacksonville Camera Club. I look forward to working with the Officers, Board members, Committee Chairs members as we continue to look for opportunities to improve the Jacksonville Camera Club. It was unfortunate that the cold weather held our attendance down a little bit. I look forward to all members participation in the process to drive our efforts at attracting and retaining new members, increase club member participation in club activities, consider additional improvements to the print and digital competitions. I have always believed if you are not moving forward you are moving backwards. I look forward to working together to make sure we continue to move the club in a forward direction.
It would be great to see a big crowd at the next meeting as Chris Moore presents “Looking beyond the camera: Advanced field techniques to improve your photographs “. Chris has given several outstanding presentations to our club in the past and I looked forward to this one. It would be especially great to see several of the members that haven’t attended meetings recently.
