It's the Zoo. You've likely been here before.
But, if not, the Jacksonville Zoo offers hundreds of species of Mammals, Birds, Reptile and others in natural settings that offer endless and varying photo ops.
Additionally the Gardens and Aviaries offer quiet (hopefully) walks and views. There are dedicated species viewing areas presenting differing views of specific species of animals.
All in all, this outing gives you the opportunity to spend the day filling your card with images of interesting things doing interesting things.

Meet at the main entrance area at 9:00 AM.
Proceed at your own pace and schedule through the various Zoo features.
Meet for lunch at the Trout River Grill at 12:30 PM
After lunch the Zoo and Gardens remain available as long as you wish to stay.
Gear
Telephoto Zoom lenses are the best choice here for animal subject shots. 100-400mm or 70-200mm will serve most. Wide angle Zooms 24-70mm or such may be better for Garden images.
Other Tips
Bug spray is always suggested, it's Florida.
