Treasurer Update – Jim Jordan – new member Deborah Cooper; annual dues are due and needs to be paid by the end of September or your name will be coming off the membership and will not be able to participate in competitions.
Website Update – Kathy Jaworski – In The Weekly a member will have their gallery hosted on the website. If you have not created a member gallery now is the time.
PSA Update – Paula Griffin – General information about the PSA and how it works; Charise Tanner will be leaving to go to the PSA conference being held in Spokane, WA..
F3C Update – Julius Dean – 3rd Triannual Print competition is open for entries can be turned in at the next meeting it is opened til the end of month and a $4.00 shipping fee will need to be paid for your images.
Monochrome Print Competition – Prints are due tonight. Make sure you email a copy of your images to Bill McSherry. Also if you did not turn in you can bring images to the JCC Board meeting on September 25th at 6:00 p.m. and Bill McSherry will collect them at that time.
Brags – Brian Leonard – John Neel won 1st place on an image but he had submitted to a previous program to see how the image could be improved and that is how he won 1st place and wanted to thank the members of the club for helping him improve on the image. Doug Griffin and Paula Griffin got an article and a picture published in a photography magazine.
Outings – September Outing – Brian Leonard and Anita Fanic – was cancelled due to football game in Gainesville – was going to the Butterfly Rain Forest ; October Fall Outing- Oct. 23rd to 27th – Rebecca Janseen checking to see if everyone was able to book at the Mill House Lodge. Also will be emailing additional information out about the schedule for each day.
Open Positions – Outings Chair 2020; Christmas Party Chair 2019; Banquet Assistance 2020 – Brian Leonard was asking for volunteers to fill these positions that are open and in need of help.
Raffle – Anita Fanic – 50/50 = $51.00 = $25.50 = club and $25.50 to Shaun Argus.
