DIGITAL Q2 Submissions – Jan Vallely – Spoke on the 2nd quarter digital that would be ending on March 31st. The categories for the 2nd qtr. are Window Light, Panorama and Outings. The lowest number of images for the panorama is three. Look on the BLOG on How to Resize images. For the Panorama it was enlarge from 2mgb to 9mgb for this category only.
Member was concern as last digital competition several images were too small. Jan said that she will call if there are any problems being too small.
BOARD UPDATE – Bill McSherry – Review of Contest Policies for Multiple Submissions – Several entries for both the digital and print had been entered. Just reminding members that if you won an honor in digital and then with the same image and it won 1st place in print then since you had already won in digital you could not win in prints. The maximum number of times for any image is three(3). An email will go out to explain this rule

SAVANNAH OUTING – Rick Hartmann – Fall Outing in October – The friends of Rick and Dee have invited the members to come by their house in the evenings for drinks and eats and then will go out to dinner. On Saturday night members are invited to a Pizza Party. Go ahead and make reservations as the hotels in the area will book up early. If you see that you will not be able to attend then make sure that you know the cancellation policy of the hotel you booked at.
Also, Savannah Outing on 4/6-8 – is a good area to get some great pictures. Then the father away from downtown you are the more inexpensive the hotels get. There are a lot of hotels around I-95 to be able to book for the weekend.
F3C UPDATE – Julius Dean – 1st Triannual for Digital is open until March 31st
2 Ribbons – for the 1st qtr Print Triannual – Darryl Joseph won a Red – which is in the top 10% and then a Yellow – which is honors category.

If you have new images that you would like to hear on how to improve then this is the time to get them turned in. A maximum of three images per member and it will be a live critique and will not have name on picture or be known by members.
