General Meeting Minutes

Vice President Robert Clark called the meeting to order at 7:05 p.m.
Bill McSherry presented the officer nominations for 2024.

The slate of officers was approved unanimously by members in attendance.
Bill announced that he will lead the Digital Competition next year, and that the Club will need a new Print Chair next year.
People’s Choice:
Tina Jordan announced the winners of this month’s contest: Ernest Mistr, 1st Place, Christine Cramer, 2nd Place, and Charise Tanner, 3rd Place. The December theme is Neon Lights.
Raffle 50/50: $11 went to the Club and to Tina Jordan.
Outings/Activities:
The Beaches Photography Club has invited the JCC and the St Augustine Camera Club to their December 5 meeting to welcome internationally renowned and award winning photographer Todd Gustafson’s presentation at the Beaches Branch Library on A1A in Neptune Beach. The program is titled “Walking and Chewing Gum at the Same Time.” The meetings start at 5:45P.
The Friends of Crooked River State Park have a photo contest. Entries in the contest are to be emailed to The Friends of Crooked River State Park contest thru December 31.
There will be an outing on January 13th to the Asian Lanterns show at the Jacksonville Zoo. Details will be on the website soon.
Visitors – There were no visitors.
Program
Mr. Bill Berthet presented the program “Leeched Stitched Bitten Poisoned”. He presented a slide show of butterflies and locations he has photographed in many foreign countries.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:15 p.m.
