Another email from Creative Live, the online training company, landed in my inbox. But guess what, this one announces some NEW classes, not the retreads of Photoshop and Lightroom classes that were first created eons ago. New online classes for April have been announced with the title “Upcoming Class Premieres.” The first of the four new classes is by my favorite Photoshop and Lightroom guru, Ben Willmore. I wrote about Ben in a JCC blog post. On April 6, 2021 at 12 Noon EDT the class will be on Lightroom Classic & Photoshop Integration. This is the RSVP link.
Two of the other announced classes of possible interest to JCC members, will be taught by Lisa Carney: Mobile Photography: Creating Black & White Images Using Lightroom Mobile and Mobile Photography: Day for Night Effect. Several other classes “coming soon” that piqued my interest were Flash Photography Crash Course, and Retouching and Compositing 360º Photos in Photoshop, All these courses will be listed on the education page in the Online Tutorials schedule.
Additionally in May there will be a one-week session on Lightroom brought to you by the same folks that did two Photoshop seminars in 2020–Dave Cross and 19 of his colleagues. The sign up can be found here.

Several other April tutorials are in the updated listing as well as the Lightroom Summit that will be free to watch during the week of May 3, 2021. Some of the videos that were listed earlier have been transferred to Youtube and I have listed those in the chart entitled Youtube Videos and Tutorials available online. I will not try to list all the photography/post processing videos that are on Youtube, but only those that I have watched and think are worthwhile. I am sure you have favorites that would fulfill that criteria. Please let me know your recommendations so they can be added. I try to add any new classes as they become known to me, so keep checking back for more Education.
