The meeting was opened at 7 pm by Vice President Craig Shier.
Upcoming Programs: On August 2nd, Bruce Hagstrom will present a program on phone photography.
Business:
Craig Shier presented the new club brochures designed to advertise the club. He asked people to take the brochures to libraries and hand them out to prospective members. A sign up sheet in the back will track who has brochures and what number of brochures they have taken.
Gail Means is the new Times-Union representative charged with placing our meeting in the newspaper calendar.
Charise Tanner handed out residual digital competition ribbons.
Jim Jordan reminded members that dues are due.
Upcoming Outings:
August 21st-Mike Rexroad will lead an outing to photograph the eclipse.
September 16th- Young McQueen will lead a trip to Anheuser Busch to photograph the factory.
F3C Information: Julius Dean handed out residual ribbons to F3C winners and discussed upcoming contests.
Website: Young McQueen gave an update on the website including the new online payment module which can be used to pay dues, contest fees and outing costs.
People’s Choice: The July People’s choice contest was held tonight. Winners are announced in Clicks. The theme for August is Patriotic.
