International-award winning photographer, Rachel Brockey, is recognized for capturing dramatic landscapes and abstract subject matter in bold color palettes. With ten of thousands of followers on social media worldwide, the development of a groundbreaking photographic mapping software and her recent success as an emerging mixed media fine art photographer, the National Association of Professional Businesswoman named Rachel one of their Businesswomen of the Year in 2013.
Upon completing studies at Brooks Institute of Photography, Rachel built a respected architecture and interior design photography firm with offices on the east and west coasts. As the significance of brand recognition exploded on the Internet, Rachel’s early work focused on building mixed media visual portfolios for Fortune 500 Companies with emphasis in the hospitality and destination resort markets. Her focus in the architectural field led to her later development of a software noted for introducing web-accessible, photographic as-built technology into the commercial construction marketplace.
Aside from her work in architectural photography, Rachel’s personal passions are fueled by her love for geographic exploration, mentoring, and building recognition for photography as collectible fine art. Rachel has spent years developing a signature style in her private collection pieces. By combining four to ten singularly exposed and manipulated images, Rachel creates a single digital composite that celebrates dimensional depth, the aesthetics of oil and sketch artistry, and her recognizable depiction of color. Rachel produces elite limited runs of her pieces creating a collectible medium of archival photographic art that is enjoyed in both commercial and residential environments.
In May of 2014, Rachel embarked on a solo photography expedition, which traversed over five states in fourteen weeks. Covering more than ten thousand miles by road and hiking trails, Rachel’s exploration led her through California, Nevada, Utah, Arizona, and Colorado. Rachel is currently working on hardcopy photography-infused coffee table book chronicling the comical mishaps and daring adventures of her journey with stories surrounding many of the captures you see here in our gallery today.
As of this summer, Rachel permanently relocated to Colorado as a resident photographer drawn to the topography, outdoor enthusiast lifestyle and seasonal mountain living. Rachel is currently working as a contributing photographer with a National Geographic Team creating a documentary special focused on the law enforcement and search and rescue teams located in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado.
Rachel’s favorite saying, “You only live once, but if you do it right, once is enough” continues to propel her forward as she hopes you’ll stay tuned for her next great adventure.

Website: Christine Cook Photography
Christine is the Digital Competition Director for FCCC.
Christine’s passion for photography was fueled by the colorful characters and visual experiences of her immediate family. Her five brothers filled the front yard with gritty old cars and trucks in a never-ending process of repair. They grew up to be machinists as well as martial arts experts. Her father was a plumber and prone to business via bar-room where he frequently brought his children. He mentored convicts as a consultant to the local police departments. In stark contrast, Christine’s mother was an avowed intellect with a talent in painting and expertise in the writings of Shakespeare. Her family is deeply rooted in the beautiful but black and blue history of Sicily.
The expression: “Bursts Onto the Scene” truly applies to the work of Christine Cook. In the last three years, after receiving many awards, appearing in several publications and selling many of her images locally, she has taken her work to national and international audiences. And they are embracing her style. In September of 2014, Christine received Special International Recognition awards for five images from the Upstream People Gallery Online International Art Exhibition. Her images have consistently appeared in the top finalists of the Exhibitions Without Walls International online competitions. She was juried into CameraUSA, a national exhibition at the von Liebig Arts Center in Naples, Florida.
In addition to producing art, Christine is involved with local and state camera clubs in leadership positions as well as teaching and presenting all around the state of Florida.

Digital Contest Judge Q2 2018
Will has been a Jacksonville resident since he became a staff photographer for The Florida Times-Union in 1983. New events, environmental portraits, sports business, digital illustrations and features are among his daily assignments for the newspaper. His work has also been featured in Water’s Edge, Florida Trend, Newsweek and Time Magazines, ABC World News and National Geographic’s website.
Will has won regional and national awards for his newspaper work. But he has a special respect for nature and for the beauty of the northeast Florida landscape, especially the Timucuan Preserve and the St. John’s River.
The waterways and woods are his passion, professionally and personally, and photographing them is something of a return to his roots. He grew up in Alabama and wet his first hook as a young child. Fishing alongside his father and uncles in the creeks and ponds of his hometown, Chatom, north of Mobile. In high school and college (Auburn University) he developed an interest in photography and turned his camera to nature.
For the past several years, Will’s images of the First Coast landscape have been displayed in local art galleries and he is now exhibiting at area outdoor art festivals.
