The LPIG sessions get better and better, and along with that, more and more fun. We had Brian Leonard’s friends, Heather and her mother Tracey for our models last night who are both dancers with wonderful smiles. They were very photogenic and had done some modeling, so all of us were able to get some great shots.
The LPIG sessions after December will be a little different. Since the purpose of the workshops is to teach portrait lighting, Brian is going to have the group concentrate more on the individual members doing all of the setting –up. Each month will be run by a different person from the group, with their model and using the poses and lighting that they have picked out. The session leader will explain what they have in mind to the group and will coordinate the posing.
After we all really understand the lighting techniques, we will start on some more innovative sessions.
