Julius’ Personal Bio:
I’m a native of Philadelphia, PA.
My family and I have lived in Jacksonville for the past 32 years.
I graduated from Cornell University in 1974 with a bachelor’s degree. I majored in biology.
I graduated from the Yale University School of Medicine in 1978 with a Doctor of Medicine degree.
After several years of additional training in the field of medicine, I arrived in Jacksonville in 1984.
For the past 32 years, I’ve been practicing medicine mostly as a self-employed cardiologist here in Jacksonville.
For the past 5 years, I’ve practiced cardiology as an employee of St. Vincent’s Medical Center.
I’ve had no formal education in photography. My interest in photography started around the year 1970 when I bought a Minolta sRT 101 SLR camera.
Currently, I am a Nikon DSLR user primarily. Less frequently, I shoot with a Sony mirrorless camera.
Since 2007, photography has been a passionate hobby of mine. I consider myself to be an advanced amateur.
I am skilled at shooting all categories of photography.
I’ve been a Jacksonville Camera Club member since August, 2013.
