Jacksonville Camera Club General Meeting Minutes

President Ted Floore called the meeting to order at 7:03 p.m.

Volunteers are needed for Vice President /Programs and editor for the Weekly. Contact Ted if you are willing to volunteer.

Ted stated that there are images from the Okefenokee outing on Facebook. Information on future outings is on the website.

Ted stated that there are cards for Doug Griffin, and Rick and Dee Hartmann in the back for members to sign.

Ted announced that The Jacksonville Historical Society is offering tours of Evergreen Cemetery. The website is: jaxhistory.org.

Jenn Samsel has created a new public Facebook page and an Instagram account.  There are links to them on our website. We are encouraged to try them out.

People’s Choice – The following awards for March were announced: Third Place, Mark Hodgson and Jim Angelo, Second Place, Christine Cramer, First Place, Ted Floore and Charise Tanner.

Raffle 50/50: $15 went to Silas Osborne and $16 went to the Club.

Visitors / New Members – None.

Submissions for the next print competition can be turned in at the two April meetings.

Program Brian Leonard presented the results of the First Triannual Print Competition. Judge Linda Burek was present and made valuable comments on all print entries.

Meeting was adjourned at 7:50 p.m.
