From the Weekly Editor

Meeting of July 21, 2022

If you missed July 21, 2022 meeting and your prints are showing dust spots, you missed how to clean and keep your equipment spot-free. George Barroso, the owner of FantasTec Camera Services gave a very interesting and useful presentation. Thank you, George.

During the presentation he gave us a list of some of the items we should use to keep out cameras and lenses clean. The first item George mention was the Giottos Rocket Air Blaster Large Dust-Removal Tool (Red). He also mentioned Eclipse sensor cleaner, and I have sent an email to him, to find a local source. Additionally he suggested a YouTube video that explains the technique CORRECTLY. He was very specific in mentioning that this is the only video he found on YouTube that does it correctly and strongly advises not to follow videos other than this one.

If you have information that you want included in The Weekly, please send me an email to tmetaksa@me.com by 6pm Friday.

For reasons unbeknownst to me google forms does not communicate with me very well. Thanks.
