The Cummer Museum of Art & Gardens in Jacksonville boasts some of the most important and delightful gardens in Northeast Florida.
The gardens offer many types of photo opportunities under a canopy of mature live oak trees including reflecting pools, fountains, arbors, antique ornaments, and sculptures.

Schedule of Events
We will proceed into the Gardens at the 11:00 AM opening and proceed through the many varied locations on our own. No formal presentation is planned.
Gear
The Gardens present many varied shooting opportunities. Lens choices run the gamut from wide to telescope, Macro is also a possibility but, tripods are not allowed. Polarizers can be useful here along with flash for certain situations.
Other Tips
We will monitor weather forecasts leading up to the date with the possibility of a rain date if needed.
We are in the open beside the river so the need for bug spray is not as acute as for recent outings but, this is Florida so be prepared.
Directions
I-95 N to exit 348 to I-95 service rd. follow signs for Downtown/Main St Bridge/Acosta Bridge, left at the fork, signs for Riverside Ave/I-95 N/I-10W, merge on to Riverside Ave. to 395 Riverside and parking lots.
