Jacksonville Camera Club Minutes of Meeting – May 15, 2019 – SOTW

Brian Leonard called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.

Clicks Update – Brian Leonard – The Board decided after John Neel had volunteered to revise the “Clicks” and it is going to take at least 20 to 30 hours of work to get the newsletter out and if one of the members wanted to step up and volunteer then it could be done. At this time we are going to look into expanding “The Weekly” and also include additional information on the website.

Don Dymer – Mandarin Times, Mandarin Neighbors are continuing putting information about JCC in their paper. If anyone wants to sub for him as he will be gone for several months please shoot him an email.

Website Update – Kathy Jaworski – Info on the Weekly – will adding members to the email list for the Weekly if do not want to be on just let her know. Also, we are requesting birth dates on the members so that you can be recognized. Fill out the form and submit. Do not need to give year just month and date.

PSA Update – Paula Griffin – if anyone has borrowed the magazines could you please return so other members can have an opportunity to look at the magazine.

F3C Update – Julius Dean – Digital – Ribbons – Jack Stephens – 2 blue, Paula Griffin – blue and yellow, Jon Montigny – red, Don Dymer – white and blue, Julius Dean – blue and yellow

Print Competition – Entries for Q2 prints are due tonight – last night to turn in prints to Caroline Peppiatt.

Digital Competition – Entries for Q3 from June 1st thru June 30th, themes are Club Outings,
Hands, and Boats and Water Structures

Brags – Brian Leonard – not a brag but John Neel found his Brownie Target 620 and asked if anyone knew where he could buy film to fit the camera.

Outings – Brian Leonard – Marineland 5/17 – sunset at 6:30 p.m. and 5/18 – sunrise at 5:30 a.m.
Next out will be Beach Portrait – June 15th – Craig Monroe

Raffle – Anita Fanic – 50/50 = $27.50 = club and $27.50 = Shaun Argus

People’s Choice – Tina Jordan – June’s Theme – Spanish Moss – next meeting June 5th and July’s theme will be Environmental Trash by cell phone.
